Oracle Labs improves throughput by 80 percent with new structured cabling

CommScope’s SYSTIMAX® ultra-low loss copper and fiber structured cabling delivers the speed, capacity and flexibility Oracle Labs needs to meet today’s technology demands as well as those that are still evolving. With SYSTIMAX, the organization more than quadrupled throughput capacity—to 1.2 terabytes from approximately 300 gigabytes.

One of those solutions includes Propel™, the newest high-speed fiber platform to facilitate the migration to terabit speeds and enable faster, more efficient access to data. It introduces 16-fiber cabling to support the fast-growing 400 Gbps and 800 Gbps speeds, as well as emerging 1.6 Tbps.
